LHS College/Career Awareness Week

November 29th through December 1st will be College/Career Awareness Week.  This is your chance to learn where staff went to school and places they worked along the way.  Throughout the week you will see signs, information, and decorations in the halls.  Classroom will be decorated with the teachers' alma mater and places they have worked.  In addition, we will be giving away some great prizes for those who participate in the activities listed below. There will be a drawing for every activity and you can win more than once. Prizes range from $25 Amazon and Wal-Mart cards to a variety of other food and coffee cards.

Please join in on the fun!

Monday

College and Career Readiness starts.

Bingo.  Students can pick up the form in the commons.

Tuesday

Scavenger hunt about colleges.  Students can pick up the form in the commons.

Wednesday

Staff members will speak in the AV auditorium during lunch.

Staff will wear colors or apparel from their alma mater. Face painting is allowed.

Thursday

Scavenger hunt related to places staff has worked.  Students can pick up the form in the commons.

On-site Admission with EOU, during 5th and 6th period in the library.  Students will need their social security number and a copy of their transcript.

Friday

Staff members will speak in the AV auditorium during lunch.

Students will wear colors or apparel from the college they want to attend. Face painting is allowed.

Expect a visit from EOU’s Mascot, MONTY THE MOUNTAINEER, during the week.
