As a reminder; Last week on Friday, November 8 at 12:00 in the afternoon our district released an Safety concern announcement via Facebook and our website related to a safety concern at La Grande High School:
The event was focused on a concerning comment left on an electronic device; The message was investigated last week by our administration and law enforcement. With the support of law enforcement, we have found no evidence to determine the comment was credible at the present time. As of today we still do not have any information to update.
One of the paramount duties of our school district is student and staff safety. We have increased law enforcement presence in our schools and will continue this for the foreseeable future.

We have also been reaching out to students and staff to remind them of the tip line as well as available resources in our schools. LGSD School Based Health Center staff, counselors, teachers, aids and administration are ready to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of our students.
