Alex Justice, the Director of Bands at La Grande High School and La Grande Middle School was recently notified of a $20,000 grant from the Wildhorse Foundation. The grant will be used to replace old instruments. Justice hopes to purchase a replacement baritone saxophone, tuba, and bass clarinet.

“These new instruments will allow more students to feel successful on high quality equipment. It will help improve the sound of the ensemble for years to come,” Justice said.

Superintendent George Mendoza and the School Board are grateful for the Wildhorse Grant allowing us to provide quality educational experiences for our students.
