LHS Fans, LHS girls soccer will be hosting Astoria at 1 pm TOMORROW, Saturday, November 9th at EOU. This is a State Quarterfinal game. There will be NO passes accepted except OSAA Gold Card passes. Admission is $10 per adult and $6 per student.
The girls have decided on a Red, White and Blue theme to help honor Veterans Day.
Come out, dress up, dress warm and help support the LHS girls Soccer team as they continue to make a push towards the State Championship game!
We are excited to announce that our new, energy efficient boilers are officially running as of Monday morning of this week. The building heated up quickly and we are excited to finish fine tuning the settings by the end of this week! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through this project!
The La Grande School District will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of Veterans Day, which recognizes military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. We express our deep gratitude to all who have served! Thank you!

SENIORS - IMPORTANT!!!! This coming Thursday evening, November 7th at 6:00 p.m. in the LHS Library is the LAST FAFSA/Financial Aid Night! This meeting is for ANY student and their parents to attend, but especially for seniors planning to attend college or a trade school in the fall of 2025! The Financial Aid Director from EOU will be here to walk you through the entire process and provide you and your family with tips and tricks. Please plan on attending and be ready to take notes. LHS Athletic Fans! Today at 6pm Girls Varsity Soccer is hosting Pendleton in their final home game of the regular season. They are calling this their Sell Out Game. Coach Gianandrea did some research, and it appears that attendance at high school girls soccer games is not kept in the State of Oregon. That is something they want to change, and in a big way! Their goal for this game is to have 400 or more fans in attendance to cheer them on! The girls have picked the theme of wearing black and blue clothing.
To help fill the stands for these Athletes there will be NO ADMISSION charged at tonight's game! Spread the word, brave the cooler weather and go cheer these ladies on as they attempt to set an attendance record as they take on the Pendleton Buckaroos!
The weather gets colder the next few days and our heating system is still not quite up and running . Our new boiler system is almost complete! In the meantime we are asking students to please wear long pants, long sleeves and bring a jacket. Each classroom has electric heaters allowing us to have comfortable learning spaces but our hallways are a bit chilly as students pass from class to class. Thank you for your understanding!
