Happy Friday to our Tiger family!
Now that our school district has moved into a low risk level, we will be making a few changes to our daily procedures. First, all students will now enter through the main entrance each morning, which opens at 8:10 a.m. daily. Please do not drop off students prior to 8:10. If students have appointments to work with individual teachers, they can enter earlier for teacher access.
For those eating breakfast at school, this will be served in the Commons beginning at 8:00. Our kitchen has switched to hot meals for both breakfast and lunch, both served in our Commons.
Hand hygiene and masking are still required and important mitigations for preventing illness, especially this time of year.
Thank you for helping us make it to this point in the year with lower risk to students, families, and staff. We appreciate your cooperation in continuing this trend. Have a great weekend, and we'll see you Monday!
Winter sports first day of practice is this Monday, November 15. All athletes need to register online. Students are not allowed to practice without completing all registration forms. You must have a current OSAA physical on file at the high school.

There is no school on Thursday, November 11 in observance of Veteran's Day.
LHS Tigers take on Estacada HS this Friday. Game time is 6pm. The game will be played at Sandy HS in Sandy, OR. Tickets cannot be purchased at the gate.

LHS Football plays Estacada High School this Friday, November 12. Game time is 6:00 pm and will be played at Sandy High School. The address for Sandy HS is 37400 Bell St in Sandy, OR.
The National Guard is coming to LHS this Friday @ noon. Lori McNeil will be presenting about benefits. Pizza will be provided.
We have a State Champion - Emily Tubbs took first place at the Cross Country state finals this past Saturday. She finished with a time of 19:04. Congratulations Emily!!!! Girls Cross Country finished 4th in State. Way to go Tigers.
To excuse your child from school call the Attendance line directly at 541-663-3311. If your child needs to leave in the middle of the day, please send a note with your child telling the time and the reason for departure. Have your child show the note to the teacher which will excuse them from that class at the correct time. They will need to sign out at the attendance office with the note which will get them excused for the appointment.

Girls Soccer beat Corbett HS last night with a score of 1-0. They will travel to Woodburn this weekend for the state quarter finals. Game time is 2pm.
The first day of practice for winter sports is Monday, November 15. You must register online before that day if you want to participate. All students need to have a current OSAA physical before they can practice.

The game will be played at EOU Community Stadium.
Girls Soccer will host Corbett HS in a state play off game on Tuesday, 11/2/21 at 5:00pm. The game will be played at EOU field.
Boys Soccer will travel to Ashland, OR for playoff game, Wednesday, 11/3, at 3:00 pm.
